Terms of Use
Using CraveBite
CraveBite provides restaurant discovery, recommendation, group matching, and social features. You may use the service only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Accounts
You are responsible for protecting access to your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may delete your account from Profile in the app. Deletion removes your account and associated user content except where limited retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Restaurant Information and Recommendations
Restaurant hours, availability, ratings, prices, photos, addresses, and other details can change or be inaccurate. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees. Confirm important details directly with the restaurant before traveling, ordering, or making a reservation. CraveBite does not provide medical, allergy, dietary, or food-safety advice.
User Content
You retain ownership of photos, reviews, comments, and other content you submit. You grant CraveBite a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, moderate, promote, and improve the service. You represent that you took the photo or otherwise have the right and permission to submit it.
If you choose to help improve restaurant profiles, future visit photos you upload may be considered for CraveBite's public restaurant catalog after safety and quality review. That choice does not publish a photo automatically. You can change the choice for future uploads in Profile and can remove an uploaded photo or request removal through Data Choices.
Do not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, privacy-invasive, infringing, or otherwise harmful. We may review, restrict, or remove content and suspend accounts to protect users and enforce these terms. Use in-app report and block controls or contact support to report a concern.
Sponsored Restaurants
CraveBite may show clearly identified sponsored restaurant profiles. Payment may affect placement or presentation, but restaurants cannot purchase a positive vote, review, or private user information.
Google Maps Platform
Some content is provided through Google Maps Platform. Your use of Google-provided features and content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
Prohibited Conduct
- Do not abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service.
- Do not bypass rate limits, moderation, app-integrity checks, or access controls.
- Do not impersonate another person or manipulate ratings, visits, group votes, or campaign results.
- Do not submit false, harmful, unlawful, or rights-infringing information.
Availability
CraveBite is under active development. Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. We may suspend access where needed to protect users, third parties, or the service.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CraveBite is provided “as is” and without warranties. CraveBite is not responsible for restaurant services, food safety, allergies, reservations, pricing, travel, user conduct, or third-party content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CraveBite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
