Data Choices
Use the controls below or contact privacy@cravebite.app to request access, correction, export, or deletion of information associated with you.
Delete Your Account
Open Profile in CraveBite, choose Account, and select Delete Account. After confirmation, CraveBite removes the account and associated personal data from active systems, including uploaded user content, unless limited retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Location
You can use a manually selected location instead of device location. You can also deny or revoke location permission in iOS Settings. The optional Nearby liked places setting uses iOS on-device geofencing around up to 20 liked, unvisited restaurants and may send one reminder for a restaurant after you remain within 2 miles for about 20 minutes. Turn it off under Profile > Notifications at any time. CraveBite does not upload this region activity or build a continuous record of where you travel. A Group Crave round keeps its selected search center with the round so members can reopen the same choices and results.
Rankings and Photos
In Profile > Privacy & Safety, you can turn public Rankings off and decide whether future visit-photo uploads may be considered for restaurant profiles after review. Changing the future-photo choice does not automatically change an earlier upload that recorded your permission. Delete the visit photo in the app or email privacy support to request removal from the restaurant catalog.
Social and Safety Controls
You can remove friends, block accounts, and report social content in the app. Blocking ends the friendship relationship and prevents the blocked account's activity from appearing in your social experience.
Notifications
Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. Account, friend, group, and social notification preferences may also be available in Profile.
Verification
We may need to verify your identity before completing an off-app request so another person cannot access, change, or delete your data.
